·         Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university. A master’s degree in library science (MLS) is preferred (will accept MLS in progress if eligible for a waiver)

The Librarian creates a positive learning environment to facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of students.  To provide professional library assistance to public school students and staff in full utilization of services, materials and resources. In order to respond to the individual needs and abilities of students and staff, the Librarian must work closely with other staff, the administration, and other programs of Dodge City Public Schools.
